About this trip
This is truly a diverse itinerary covering so many highlights of Uluru, Kakadu, Arnhem Land and the Red Centre.
Included is a very unique experience of spending time at The Hawk Dreaming Wilderness Lodge located in an exclusive and restricted area of Kakadu National Park, and features just 12 twin share ensuited tented safari cabins. A daily Sunset Safari explores stunning rock art and sandstone outcrops before a spectacular sunset on the escarpment over the wetlands. Return to camp for a delicious evening meal presented by the resident camp host and enjoy an authentic Aussie experience as we relax around a campfire under the stars. The lodge is situated in a special and justifiably renowned part of the Park, known as Cannon Hill, which has abundant wildlife, especially bird and marine life. The sandstone outliers around Cannon Hill host significant rock art dating back many thousands of years.
We also travel to Tiwi Islands, known as ‘the island of smiles’, a unique slice of paradise, home to incredible Aboriginal culture, white sandy beaches and breath taking nature and wildlife.
After time exploring Darwin we board The Ghan Expedition, a unique and epic experience to explore the wonders of Australia’s vast interior with one of the world’s most renowned rail journeys.
